Highlights Things to see
• On display at the fair will be a plethora of art styles, ranging from classical modern to cutting edge, and from abstract to figurative. • Expect to see works from established Singaporean and international galleries but also from newer spaces that have opened in the region and beyond. • Aside from paintings, the fair will feature photography, sculpture, drawing, edition prints, street art, contemporary calligraphy, assemblage and more. • The artists represented at the fair hail from around the world, including Singapore, Asia, Australia, Europe and America. There’ll be over 85 local and overseas galleries showing over 600 artists, with 70 percent from Asia (40 percent from Singapore) and 30 percent from the rest of the world. Fifteen percent of the galleries are exhibiting with the fair for the first time. Things to do • Participate in free events, including art talks and demos, and take your little ones along to the children’s workshops. • Leave the kids at the free Children’s Art Studio so you can relax while browsing the art. • Catch up with friends over lunch or a glass of wine; there are plenty of food and beverage options at the fair. • Find inspiration to start your own art collection. The Under $1,000 Wall ( see next page ) might be a great place to start.
