for Everyone ART By Rebecca Bisset Everything you need to know about the Autumn 2015 instalment of the Affordable Art Fair , on at the F1 Pit Building this month. H aving launched in London, the Affordable Art Fair is now a truly international event, with 17 fairs taking place in 11 countries in 2015 alone. It’s been in Asia (Singapore was the first host city) since 2010, so most of you will have been to one or more already and will know how enjoyable it is. For those that haven’t, it’s cool, and definitely worth a visit – and that’s not just my opinion; the fair has been voted as a CoolBrand in the UK for the past six years, as nominated by the British public and the CoolBrands Expert Council. Although we’re aware of the breadth of artistic talent in the region and the abundance of great galleries in Singapore (many of which are represented at the fair), it’s good to have them all in one place and to get to know them bit better. It’s also a very relaxed and fun way to choose and buy art priced between S$1,000 and $10,000.
