Open Days Return UWCSEA’s annual open house events are back! From7 September to 7October, you’ll have the chance to experience the campuses in action, meet the Principals and hear from students and parents. The admissions team and educational leaders will also run a series of webinars exploring what makes a UWCSEA education special. Accolades Galore At the inaugural 2022 Singapore Best Schools Awards, Dulwich College (Singapore) won Best Early Years Programme in an International School; the top honour was bestowed by expert judges based on the school’s strengths, feedback from parents, teachers and students in surveys, independent reviews and more. The judges highlighted Dulwich’s Forest School, English/ Mandarin Dual Language programme, wide range of CCAs and Specialist Teaching as stand-out areas. Dulwich also won Best School for the Arts (Music, Drama, Dance, Visual Arts) and was highly commended in Sport and UK Pathway categories. An American Welcome Whether you’re brand new to Singapore or a returning member, work at home or in an office, and no matter your nationality, come and make some friends at the Welcome Fair by the American Women’s Association of Singapore. The event on 23 August is running from 10am until noon at The American Club. The club’s social, sports, special interest and community service volunteers will be present to introduce their activities and help you get started. Women’s Football Football clubs JSSL and Tampines Rovers formed a partnership in 2018 to set up a pathway for talented young footballers to transition to playing professionally. Extending this partnership until June 2025, they’ve launched a women’s football programme to form a new women’s team. Up to 30 scholarships will be offered to young local aspiring female footballers keen to pursue a career in the sport, across six age groups: Under 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16. The new JSSL TRFC women’s team will compete in the Deloitte Women’s National League in September, and then the Professional League in January 2023, Singapore’s top-tier women’s league.
