My favourite subject is Higher Level Literature as we get to explore a variety of works from different regions. I feel that what we read is relevant and they deal with many themes. We’ve analysed works such as Catcher in the Rye , essays by Joan Didion and poetry by Wilfred Owen. A major highlight of my time at CIS would be being elected President of the Student Council. It awarded me with valuable communication and organisational skills and has allowed me to take up a position of responsibility. When I graduate, I plan to study History and Politics in university and pursue my interests in international relations and global politics.
