Singapore has awide array of international schools, most of which have amulticultural environment with students from diverse backgrounds and countries. These schools offer a varietyof curriculums, too, fromsingle-countryprogrammes to the International Baccalaureate and International Primary Curriculum. We asked Expat Living readers for their referrals to help you decide on which school to choose!

KIDS’ GUIDE 2022 MCI (P) 044/12/2021 Annual $9.90 This is our family’s 10th year in Singapore and both our kids started at AIS when they were two. Ethan is at the Early Learning Village (ELV) and Amelia is in her first year of Prep. We learnt about AIS after attending a playgroup held by the school. We were won over by their friendly manner. The play environment was well resourced and the staff were approachable and knowledgeable. What appealed to us most is the play-based curriculum and its child-centred approach. The learning environment is stunning – the kids are free to be kids and get creative. Both our children have been lucky to be taught by Amy Sparks. Photos and updates are shared with families via the Storypark app, which makes the feedback timely and personal. The kids’ grandparents really enjoy being part of the community too. Another appeal is the sports programme – the PE department is incredible. Our daughter is extremely sporty, so a school that offers excellent opportunities for sport is a must. The staff have always gone out of their way to support the students, in particular, the Early Years PE Specialist, Anita Perry. During lockdown, they provided many suggestions and opportunities for activities. If you’re looking for a school with great sports facilities where children feel valued and listened to, then AIS should be your school of choice.
