Integrated We’ve lived in Singapore for five years and Sasha has been attending IIS for six months. We met the director Dr Vanessa von Auer and told her about our struggles to find the right place for a child who needs more support from a mainstream education. Since enrolling, we’ve seen positive changes in Sasha’s academics and behaviour. She has also had her first graduation ceremony, moving from Preschool to Grade 1. results and areas of improvement, and to ensure that our objectives are aligned. There’s a real focus on helping children strengthen the skills they are good at and work on areas of improvement. The school recently moved to a new location which is well equipped, offering a bright environment with an outdoor recreational area. We appreciate the activities planned for after-school hours, such as dance, soccer and language learning. They’re quite diverse, and the programme is reviewed quarterly. We feel like a part of the IIS community; we’re IIS offers strong academic support with low student-teacher ratios. As parents, we have regular catch- ups with the teachers to discuss
well-connected with other parents and we organise playdates regularly. We came across the school online when we were looking for international schools with small class sizes and additional developmental support. The teachers and specialists are very professional and offer children both academic and personal development; it’s exactly what we were looking for! International School
