Happy Birthday, Huber’s! H u b e r ’s B u t c h e r y c e l e b r a t e d i t s 10 t h anniversary in August with fun family activities, a delicious buffet, live sausage-making, a grill competition and a guess- the-steak competition. Little ones had fun with face-painting and a cow painting competition, while another highlight wa s t he open i ng o f S i n g a p o r e ’s o l d e s t P a rmi g i a n o c h e e s e , a 10-year-aged cheese wheel from Italy. Huber’s also presented a cheque of $10,000 to the Singapore Children’s Society.

Express Yourself Students at ISS International School were treated to performances by the Kirakira Hikaru Arts dance group from Japan in August. The cultural dance exchange was organised by Moe, a Grade 12 student at ISS – having lived in both Japan and Singapore, she hoped to share the privilege of experiencing different cultures. The group also performed at other local schools and polytechnics.
