Innovative Ideas Working with canvas, her vibrant Singapore collection was inspired by her quest to find a way to combine her passions of photography, art and travel. “The result is my bright collection of artistic prints of Singapore’s top attractions.” Her photography covers such iconic scenes as Joo Chiat’s s hophou s e s , The Fu l l e r t on Hotel, Gardens by the Bay and its Supertrees, and the Merlion. Vivid, vibrant, striking, rich and bold are all fitting adjectives for her pieces, which range from40cmby 30cm to a larger 110cm by 80cm in size; items can also be customised to order, and are available in canvas, framed art and metallic prints. “I’m always looking at creating new designs to keep my collection fresh, as well as being asked to capture clients’ favourite places. When some saw the Joo Chiat shophouses, they asked me if I’d done the same for Emerald Hill, so I created that. I’ve since been asked to do Duxton Hill, which is about to be released.” Her works are displayed not only in Hotel Jen, but also at Expat Dental and FairPrice Antique, and she has plenty of corporate clients keeping her busy. The bulk of her clients, though, still consists of those who buy for their homes and offices, or those seeking welcome or farewell gifts, and of course birthday presents. Linda’s focus on perfection means she’s continually honing her craft by attending accredited workshops, and her travels allow her to take pictures across the globe. “You’ll always find me with a camera in my hand, taking photos as I travel, and one day I hope to incorporate these into my collection of artistic prints. However, right now my focus is Singapore!”
