Library in Parks The National Library Board (NLB) has launched Nodes at Parks, a series of interactive installations that give everyone access to NLB’s e-resources on sustainability. These pop-ups resemble supermarket shelves filled with items such as exercise mats made from shoe waste, and a book exchange corner for anyone to exchange pre-loved books. There are also 16 Sustainable Benches produced from recycled wood from Singapore trees – many painted by students from secondary schools. Nodes at Parks is at Jurong Lake Gardens until 18 December, then East Coast Park (21 December to 24 January) and Pasir Ris Park (27 January to 26 February). nlb.gov.sg
