Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel This year, Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel has 12 new holiday favourites for takeaway, including roast turkey, Black Angus beef striploin, Spanish kurobuta pork ribs and more. There’s also decadent log cakes such as the Caramel Gianduja Hazelnut Christmas Train (1kg, $72), Ruby Berry Hibiscus Yule Log Cake (1kg, $72) and the best-selling Signature Chocolate Fudge Log Cake ($70 for 1kg and $40 for 500g). For the adventurous foodie, give the H ō jicha-Rum Chestnut Pear Bûche de Noël (1kg, $72) a shot. The delicate and soft pear is poached in h ō jicha to amplify the bold and nutty flavour, complemented by vanilla chestnut mousse with rum. Collection and delivery is available until 25 December. Pan Pacific Singapore Pan Pacific Singapore is set to impress this year with Christmas meals like the Premium Christmas Bundle ($570) that includes a traditional roasted turkey, slow-cooked Kurobuta pork belly and Australian ribeye beef, as well as a new log cake featuring pink guava with strawberry. Also available is the Traditional Christmas Bundle ($480) with roast turkey, ham and a choice of desserts. The hotel’s pastry team has also created four new log cake flavours including the aforementioned pink guava and strawberry ($90), plus hazelnut praline and yuzu gateaux ($95), classic chocolate ($95), and coconut mango ($92). You can also find traditional crowd-pleasers such as rich fruit cake ($62), German marzipan stollen ($51) and homemade chocolate pralines (from $35). Park Bäckerei Artisanal German bakery Park Bäckerei, known for its freshly hand-made pretzels, is offering a traditional German Christstollen this season. It’s based on the recipe of the Butterstollen, which for years has been delivered each Christmas to the German Chancellery. Finest butter, citrus peel, nuts and almonds, raisins and a dash of German Kirschwasser bring back memories of Christmas markets, mulled wine and snow-covered pine trees. You can choose between 400g Original Stollen ($28) and 460g Marzipan Stollen ($34), filled with handcrafted rosewater marzipan. Since each German Christstollen is crafted by hand, then carefully wrapped and beautifully packaged, only 500 pieces will be available this year.
