All About Us

POWERFUL REACH

Welcome to the world of Expat Living!

Our audited print edition has a redership of over 60,000* and our website receives over 300,000 viewers each month.

With so many options available, how do you know which is the best way to reach an affluent, involved and relevant market? We know it’s changed out there; it’s tough – you have to reach out on so many levels, and as a business owner that means more time and often more money. Branding is still critical – your name must be front of mind with potential clients. Recall needs to be high. Visibility on social media needs to be high. And repetition of the message is often the only way to get a person to commit or connect, or take the next step. We all know how many times we have to see an ad or an email to get us to respond. Our print run is audited so you know exactly how many magazines are going out each month. Our database has been organically grown, so only those who want to receive our digital offering do so. This means our open rates are above average. Our website is made up of fabulous content built up over nine years. Our e-mag is quick and easy to read. Our Facebook likes are organically grown. We create focused events ranging from workshops to shows to enable you to be in front of your target market. We’re the one-stop shop for anything relating to people wanting to move here, or who want to make the most of Singapore life. For expats and Singaporeans too. We can put together the perfect combination to make your life easier and your marketing strategy more efficient and effective. We want to save you time and money. We’ve been around since 2002, we have seen the change and have stepped up to help you manage it.

SPENDING POWER

DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE Our readers are mostly affluent expats and locals, aged between 25 and 44. Our readers spend a large portion of their income on areas such as travel, wine and dine, education, entertainment, financial services, home décor, beauty, healthcare and more. STRONG RETENTION Our magazines are retained for months beyond release date, with advertising and editorials used as reference for purchase decisions.

We look forward to working with you!

Rebecca Bisset Editor-in-Chief

P.S. You can get in touch with us at sales@expatliving.sg or call 6812 1780 or your sales manager.

WINE AND FRIENDS We haven’t really found it easy to meet like-minded people in Singapore, especially being single couple without kids. So we really appreciated your September newcomer event with wine-tasting at Bacco Wines. Not only did it make us fans of Italian wines, but we also met two other newly arrived couples – one from Australia, the other from Ireland, that have already become our good friends. Thank you! – Julie and Andrew Sheridan

9/10/17 3:06 PM Billed as a place “where myth meets luxury”, it’s an easy drive from the resort to the memorbale UNESCO World Heritage sites of Hoi An, Hue and My Son, making it a perfect base for those seeking a cultural experience that connects them to central Vietnam. To celebrate our 50th edition of Expat Living , we’re giving a lucky couple a three-night stay in a Classic Terrace Suite at the luxurious InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, including breakfast! About the resort Hidden in the myth-filled hills of Monkey Mountain in the heart of the Son Tra Peninsula nature reserve, the five-star InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is a work of art as much as it is a resort. Set in 39 hectares of stepped gardens leading down to a private beach, dramatic views of the sea can be enjoyed from all 201 rooms. Every inch of this luxury resort is the stunning creation of star architect Bill Bensley, encapsulating the essence of Vietnam. Gourmet travellers will appreciate La Maison 1888, which is led by world-renowned Michelin-starred Chef Pierre Gagnaire, while those looking for a genuine wellness retreat will love the HARNN Heritage Spa set in a private lagoon. Travellers can also treat tired feet to the ultimate pedicure by “podiatrist to the stars” Bastien Gonzalez, as global leaders put the world to rights at The Summit, the resort’s impressive conference centre.

business – it’s still too early to go into the details, but watch this space! – and I felt like Rhiannon Hills from Danish Design and guest speaker Michelle McFarlane really understood the issues I was facing. Their presentations were honest, and they spoke from the heart. They went through point by point what one must do in order to grow – from data and information gathering to the power of networking and social media. At just $15 for all that, plus coffee and nibbles, I’d say it was great value and time well spent. – Genevieve Powell
